Occupational Therapy

Pediatric Occupational Therapists (OT’s) assist children in developing the basic sensory awareness and motor skills needed for motor development, learning, and positive behaviors. These tasks include the following:

  • proprioceptive awareness
  • bilateral coordination
  • fine motor control and organization
  • fine and gross motor coordination
  • visual motor skills
  • self-regulation
  • sensory modulation
  • activities of daily living
